Natural Path Marketing grew out of an awareness that most, if not all businesses need
a little help from time to time. In my role as Director of Internet Technology for a Fortune 100 company, I witnessed the early growth of the Internet as a viable place for commerce for major players. Over recent past, eCommerce opportunities have blossomed for even the smallest of businesses. The new challenge for small businesses is in gaining visibility and traffic on the Internet. With literally billions of websites on the Internet, gaining visibility is getting more difficult every day. Projections reflect a tenfold increase in Internet marketing expense over the next ten years. This creates an exageration of an already crowded market space.
The number one search engine, Google, constantly changes the ways it retrieves and ranks websites for display through its portal. This ever-changing dynamic has made traditional search engine marketing and search engine optimization approaches obsolete. Google has also mandated higher qualifications for those who want to provide agency-level work with their AdWords program, removing scores of web marketing agencies off their rolls.
I have observed an abundance of approaches for people that claim to offer solutions for search engine optimization (SEO) and search engine management (SEM). The problem
with most of these efforts lies in the reality of the labor intense activity that is required to continually tweak the SEM activity to keep a website visible in a Google search (currently over 80% of all searches go through the Google search engine). The alternatives appeared to be to pay for a Search Engine expert (at a rate of $90K/year or more) or pay a company for dedicated resources to achieve the goals.
